Current Value (CV)

Unrealized Value (UV)

2. Do I need prior knowledge of Evidence-Based Management or Scrum?

No prior EBM knowledge is required. Familiarity with agile ways of working helps, but the course teaches the EBM framework from the ground up using hands-on, activity-based exercises.

3. Is the PAL-EBM certification assessment included in the fee?

Yes. Every participant receives a free attempt at the official Scrum.org PAL-EBM assessment. If you attempt it within 14 days and score below 85%, you receive a free second attempt at no additional cost. The certification never expires and has no renewal fees.

4. How is PAL-EBM different from courses on OKRs or KPIs?

OKR and KPI frameworks tell you how to write goals. EBM goes further: it gives you four Key Value Areas to evaluate whether you are measuring the right things at all, and an empirical loop to inspect and adapt goals based on evidence rather than opinion. Many participants use EBM to make their existing OKRs meaningful.
